Unfortunately, our stay was rather negative. We had been looking for a hotel for 2 nights, which has an explicit wellness area and a bar. When we arrived on the first day, we had to find out that the bar was completely closed due to low season. On the second day after breakfast we wanted to go to the hot steam sauna, but this was also switched off due to supposedly low season. For me, it's almost fraud. the hotel kammweg is a large hotel with restaurant located directly on the rennsteig and offers good trips. the location is very beautiful, right in front of the hotel they have a wonderful, wide view of the valley. the room was in order. Very pleasant, relaxed stay!Perfect location for hikes in beautiful surroundings, renovated room with bay and very beautiful views, dog-friendly. Parking and shopping on site. I was in september 2008 with my friend and can only recommend this hotel. the rooms are well maintained, the service is very friendly and the eating delicious and affordable it is also. we have certainly lowered the old cut considerably, because in the more older couples go on the hike, but next to the rennsteig and the beautiful nature they can also experience enough other things. the hotel is centrally located between various sights. to turn off and really ideal to relax!
