Reuters House - Réservation de table

I was in Aachen on a Sunday night staying at the brand new Hampton Hilton just outside town and was looking for a decent restaurant open on a Sunday night. I checked the Michelin guide to see which restaurants were open and then Trip Advisor to see what people recommended. I went on the websites for both places to look at the menus. I had thought about going to the Haus am See but Reuters House was very close to my hotel so I decided to check it out first and after seeing the nice setting and studying the menu I decided to stay there.You can sit outside as it's on a pedestrian street but I chose to sit just inside. My wife and I made a reservation at Reuters House based on a recommendation from a friend. It was to celebrate my birthday with a nice meal. I ordered the Rack of Lamb, My wife had the Gilthead Fish. The Lamb was perfect! My wife enjoyed the fish. All the sides we excellently prepared and the meal presentation was spot on for an upscale restaurant. We ordered a bottle of Italian Red wine and it was wonderful! We shared a Creme Brulee for dessert which was excellent. The wait staff was very friendly, courteous and professional. This is by far one of the most memorable dining experience we have had is some time. Absolutely a perfect evening!

Reuters, a name know to the international ommunity as a press agency. This place used to be the lunch/dining hangout for the press people. If the food was that delicious back then than those folks were truly lucky one can fully understand why Reuters became so famous. It is by far my best place ever visited In Germany. It is my humble opinion that tehy score as high (if not higher) than soem Michelin restaurants visited so far.

This is a very small, well run establishment with very good food and service. It is on the main walking mall of the city center, but clearly stays in business due to quality, not just location. I ordered Lamb, which admittedly was a bit overcooked at medium instead of medium rare, but otherwise everything was worth coming back again. Réservez une table maintenant

By accident I came Across that restaurant after a visit to the movies.What a great experience...the layout of the place is not too great but the food was really stunning!The location , surrounded by really not so nice places..more fast food...that restaurant was really worth the visit. Would I go back there..absolutly!

A short but tempting menu suggested, quite fairly, that this was a serious restaurant and so it proved. The food was imaginative, beautifully cooked and presented. The service was friendly. It might have been even more welcoming had the owner not been sitting, scowling and going through his accounts at the next table!

The last time I have been here, I remember i left in good mood. Food was for Aachen city's level really good! Everything tasted fresh and all the dishes have been made in a creative way. If youre in Aachen and looking for a nice restaurant to go with family or friends, this would be a good choice.

Living around the corner from Aachen with a multitude of restaurants at your disposal, eating at Reuters House was absolutely lovely. The weather permitted enjoying a well thought out meal on the street side tables. Service, wine and food were outstanding. Réservez une table maintenant

Business dinner with colleagues The food was fresh and good. The dishes were very well preparated and presented. Service good but little bit slow.
