We visited this restaurant for the first time in three years, hoping to enjoy both the food and drinks. While the food in the past had been great, this time we were quite disappointed. Our server, Josh, provided excellent service. The cocktails were of high quality, but the tapas left much to be desired. The jerk chicken was tough and bland, suggesting it had been frozen or reheated too many times. The patatas bravas were undercooked and lacked flavor, while the cauliflower tacos were unappetizing in both taste and presentation. This venue has a great atmosphere and live music, but the service during our bottomless brunch was extremely slow, which detracted from what could have been a wonderful experience. We did not receive the welcome drinks and nachos promised on the menu upon arrival. Our drink and food orders took a long time to arrive, which is crucial for a bottomless brunch where quick service is expected. I have visited Revolucion de Cuba a few times and have always been pleased with everything. That's why we decided to give the Sheffield location a try. When we arrived, it was quiet, but we were slightly disappointed by the slow service. The service in Leeds was excellent, but unfortunately, this was not the case here. We had to ask for a drink, and when our food arrived, we had to ask multiple servers for condiments. The drinks were still good, with a noticeable alcohol taste. Overall, I believe Revolucion de Cuba offers great value for money and I will definitely be returning, although probably not to the Sheffield location.
My family gathered for lunch on Sunday, August 13th. We ordered a variety of tapas and drinks, all of which were excellent. The atmosphere was very social with a great crowd of people enjoying their meals and cocktail classes. Despite only having one waitress taking care of many tables, she managed to deliver every food item and drink promptly and accurately. She remained incredibly pleasant throughout the meal, which was impressive. We hope she is well compensated for her hard work. Went for bottomless brunch yesterday, our third time for bottomless brunch here and we have never been disappointed!! The food is unreal, the side of patatas bravas are gorgeous and you get a bowl of nachos and salsa to start. Good variety of drinks to choose from, the disaronno fizz is very nice and tastes just like Dr Pepper! Staff are very helpful and quick, they ask you for your next drink when you’re halfway down the current one! Bottle of Prosecco and orange juice to make mimosas too. Amazing value for money and beautiful food, highly recommend!
