This restaurant is located in the village square. There were road operators nearby, but they didn't cause much distraction. We chose a table and went with soup, bread and a cold. My husband and I had the tomato cream soup, hot and homemade. Very good The service was slow and I guess the young waitress was a new rent, but never less was it a beautiful experience, It is a beautiful little town and we want to spend more than a day there sometime in the future.
That was our first stop on a river cruise. We had visited the church above and went around and found this. We sat down and said hello in English and the English-speaking waiter and ordered 2 beers. We had a wonderful time a good place for people watching other tourists or the locals. Many people had desserts, so we had a banana split that was very good. It had a nice amount of locals, so I would recommend it for lunch.
OUR VIKING BOAT DOCKED and we took the short walk into small Breisach. We joined the many locals on the terrace. Many greens in a pleasant environment. Easy walk from the Rhine, where the river cruise boats dock. The food is excellent. The restaurant is part of a small hotel. Worth a stop. About 85% of Breisach were destroyed by Allied Artillery during World War II. The city looks great now.
This is a small restaurant and hotel on the main street of the town, It has an outdoor seating area to have a nice lunch or dinner or just to have beer or specialty ice cream there is an indoor area as well but when the weather is good it is nice to sit outdoors among the grapevines surrounding the building
