beautiful little jewel of a hotel right opposite the road from the Rhine. short walk to the local railway station and only 15 minutes by train to mainz. clean, comfortable rooms and a restaurant with amazing eating. I would say that everything on the menu is the best. what a cook! I watched how the server took the commands of a large table of 12 people and never wrote a single thing down, but everyone seemed to get exactly what they had ordered. a wonderful place to stay when it is in the local sights and the task of the cute good domtal wine.
Wie in der vorhergehenden Bewertung schon geschrieben, ist das Restaurant genau das, was man aus vergangenen Jahrzehnten kennt. Eine hervorragende Bewirtung, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, rundum zufriedenstellend. Und was aus der Küche kommt hat auch beste Noten verdient. Sehr gute deutsche Küche. Zum Mittagstisch gibt es die Tagessuppe und ein Dessert, ohne dass man es extra bestellen oder gar bezahlen muss.
In diesem Lokal ist die Zeit stehengeblieben. Die Einrichtung wurde wohl seit langem nicht mehr modernisiert. Das muss es ja aber auch nicht. Die alte Schlagermusik im Hintergrund passt natürlich perfekt ins Bild. Das Wichtigste: Es ist alles sehr sauber, Schnitzel und Bratkartoffeln schmeckten hervorragend. Dieser Koch kann wirklich kochen. Da werde ich bestimmt wieder mal einkehren.
Good German cuisine! Probably it's not for everyone, inviting from outside, but I'll tell you that, here's a real secret tip! Best stag ragout with red wort and lumps I've eaten for a long time. Soup and dessert included in the price at lunch table. I am completely unclear why on Easter Saturday this restaurant was empty at noon.

Would you like to go to dinner? Delicious food, which usually consists of a day soup, salad, the chosen main course and a dessert. The dishes have always been perfect and you can enjoy the small variations around the main course.
Extremely good food, original place. Have you eaten a lapel steak with dolls, about 25€ (with small mixed salad, lunch with soup and dessert; Latin zle instead of roast potatoes) Everything in all perfect. I recommend!
They were there at the beginning of May. A warm host. Overnight was good and the room was tidy. The wheels didn't have to be on the road. Breakfast with seasonal fruits.
We just come out of the food, it was so excellent, we ate deer rolls roasted roasted roasted slices of napkins dumplings. Wonderful, recommended.
