We were yesterday there. It was so sunny as we arrived there that we searched for a table which was in the shadow just to drink something and eat an ice cream. Unfortunately we didn't have a choice but to take a seat to a...table which was not in he shadow-following the waitresses suggestion- but it was ok As soon as the second waitress arrived to receive our order, we were told that the table was reserved, although there was not any sign on it. The best of all was thatthesame waitress had nerd to tell us that 45 minutes is enough for an ice cream and a beer. I. Was shocked first but I tried not to let this incident destroy our evening. Belle terrasse au Rhin pour s'asseoir pour un repas, un café, un gâteau et une crème glacée. Nous avions marché pendant presque des heures au bord de la rivière et avons été agréablement surpris de trouver ce restaurant avec une terrasse au bout de notre promenade. C'était une journée ... chaleureuse, journée ensoleillée, parfaite pour un déjeuner léger à l'air libre. Nous avons tous eu une soupe de citrouille avec de la crème qui était délicieuse. Avait une saveur de curry à elle. C'est un endroit idéal pour une pause après une longue marche ou pour une heure de détente par le Rhin définitivement recommandé

beautiful terrace on the Rhine to eat, coffee, cake and ice. we were almost 2 hours walked at the river and were pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant with a terrace at the end of our walk. it was a...warmer, sunny day, perfect for a light lunch in the open. we all had pumpkin soup with cream that was delicious had a curry aroma. it is a great place for a break after a long walk or recommended for a relaxed hour at the rhein definitiw! La vue donnant sur le Rhin par une soirée ensoleillée était excellente. Ma femme a commandé le classique 'Schnitzel Mit Pommes' et j'ai commandé le "Bauchspeck". Les deux étaient bons mais pas mémorables. D'autre part, le service était très bon

the view over the Rhine on a sunny evening was excellent. my wife ordered the classic carving with pommes' and I ordered the bauchspeck'. both were good, but not unforgettable. on the other hand the service was very good.

I was just there for coffee and cake, so I can't say much to eat. the restaurant has a very nice terrace with Rhine view, so in summer it is a good place for a coffee or an ice cream.

we were there twice and both of them were disappointed. everything tasted like from a boxed pity because the location as well as the service is good.
