We came out with our friends and family (table of 9 people). We had a good experience except for one of our friends... he ordered the lamb and when he was half way done underneath his meat he had a medium sized bug (dead unmoving). We told the waiter, the waiter was not at fault, but the “chef” told us that it came from outside and that it couldn’t have been from inside. We were more bothered that the “chef” couldn’t come outside to apologize over the matter. We didn’t come here to get free food or get anything taken off the bill.. other than that the food was good just the fact of the matter that if you find a big underneath your food and the “chef” said it wasn’t his fault. This year is my 4th visit to sankt polten and each time I have been here I've visited this restaurant. Very pleasant staff direct you to either indoor or outdoor seating, the menu has masses of Greek dishes. Local beers or Greek wine. All the traditional Greek dishes are good,hard to pick a best one. Nice salad between starter and main course. It has never disappointed so will be going again next time in town
On a Saturday evening at 20:00 there was an Italian, a Japanese and a Greek restaurant open in the center of St. Pölten The only Austrian one closes at 20:00 during the week and at 14:00 on Saturdays . So we chose the Greek one and we were not disappointed. The best was the bifteki Hackfleisch filled with cheese and also the tzatziki. The yoghurt was fenomenal. Greek waiters.
