Small local business but so GOOD!! First time there worth it! It was busy but was willing to sit to counter got in pretty quickly. Indoor outdoor seating. Parking lot was full but plenty of street parking. Menu has plenty for anyone's appetite and thoughtful for Anyone who is health conscious or with dietary restrictions. Pricing was right on the mark you pay for what you get. I'm not a big breakfast person but this was definitely worth waking up for. Staff were friendly and pretty attentive. I used to work at Memorial Hospital down the road and saw my fair share of businesses come and go in this unassuming and odd location. The folks who turned this into the Rhody Hen had a vision and they have executed their vision with style and class. The footprint is small so it can feel a bit crowded at peak times but the food and service makes up for the lack of space. The veggie Benedict was excellent with the twist of not just spinach but sauteed squash, too. Home fries where good. Service was warm, friendly and attentive. There are plenty of breakfast places 5m from my house but I chose to drive 20m to Pawtucket to eat here. In RI, that says a lot.
Whoever makes the beef hash understood the assignment. A bite is like eating wholesome homemade gravy in the form of a meat pancake with a delicate crispiness that barely withholds its savory juices. It's not greasy, considering it's beef hash, so i find it as a positive sign for their integrity in cleanliness and taste.Food: 5/5
I came in here for Sunday breakfast. The inside had a wait but there was open seating outside that i opted for. I went ahead and ordered the huevos rancheros with carne asada cooked medium rare. The portion was large and everything tasted good. Service was also quick and efficient.
