This was my first time at Delhi 6 and it stayed true to its name. They started right by serving some papad and chutneys. Deepak K. was welcoming and courteous host. He suggested an appetizer which was not on the menu and we loved it Paneer Corn tikki, Delicious. The test was authentic for every dish we ordered. We ordered Kadai Paneer, Daal tadka, Garlic naan, butter naan and Tandoori Roti. Every curry is served with a small size rice. I am always in search of a new Indian restaurant and ended up going to delhi 6.Please don't go to this place with your family especially if you have small kids I suggest don't make them eat here.The restaurant is filthy, house flies everywhere. If you need to use their bathroom please avoid.Now the food reviewOrdered lasooni Gobi.. it was extremely soft and almost swallowed a plastic screw which was stuffed into the gobi. This is a casual indian restaurant in Piscataway. We went around 8.45pm and there were a few customers on a Wednesday which was surprising. We ordered Delhi Chole Bhature, Schezwan Fried Rice , Delhi Butter Paneer and Tandoori Roti. We initially planned to order Bhel but they were out of it and they have stopped serving Dabeli. After seeing the great Google reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a try with high expectations. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We ordered the malai chicken kebab hoping for juicy, succulent, creamy chicken pieces, but were surprised to find it made with minced chicken and lots of fillers instead. We also tried the chicken chili cheese kebab, which was spicy but lacked any cheese. However, the dhaba style chicken curry we ordered was delicious and spicy, which I enjoyed. Hands down the best North Indian food I have had in the US. It’s authentic North Indian cuisine and you will not get any surprises. We have almost become a regular going to this restaurant every weekend. I had also ordered catering service for a party and the quality and quantity both were really impressive. The owner was very accommodating and even followed up to see if the restaurant had met our expectations. Everything tastes delicious here but the aloo chat, paneer kali mirch and soya chap dishes are out of this world. So glad to have found this place.

Ordered catered lunch for around 35-40 employees and was impressed with everything. Timing was a bit rough because maybe the 1 day advanced notice was an issue for staffing but they still delivered 100%. Food quality was their strong point and presentation right there with it. Pricing and care to meet the details are a very strong point as well.If you are catering to a business, lunch or dinner, you must carefully consider this business. I was impressed on all levels. There was some delays but well worth the wait. Pretty strong first impression.

This restaurant offers authentic North Indian cuisine with great taste, a pleasant ambiance, excellent service, affordable prices, and a taste of Delhi in New Jersey. You won't be disappointed by the quality and quantity of food served in Piscataway, just 5 miles from Edison. It surpasses the overhyped restaurants in Edison, and you won't regret giving it a try. Unlike other places, there is no service fee, but remember to tip generously as the value is evident after your meal.

The food at this restaurant is delicious! Unfortunately, the washroom is not in good condition. We ordered the following items: Dal Makhani (5/5), Garlic Naan (4/5), and Chilli Garlic Naan (5/5) which was very crispy. When we asked to wash our hands, we were directed to a dirty washroom in the back that could only be reached by navigating through the pantry. We just walked in expecting . We we ordered Amritsari Chana KULCHA This dish was so authentic that it reminds you of Chandani Chowk in Delhi. The Masalas in Chana and perfection of KULCHA perfectly cooked in Clay Oven-tandoor was amazing. To top it off the Phirni was out of this . Certainly will try again few more Dishes next time!!

Enjoyed the Indian delicacies. Great food and ambience. Small and cozy place. Good for family dinner and some personal time. Tried appetizers like Manchurian and Samosa Chaat. Naan and Lacha Paratha were really tasty.Vegetarian options: Great place for vegetarian options.
