i order from this place at least once a week and have been doing so for two month now. i usually give them my phone number so they can pull my account and i order half duck and hot and sour soup. last night when ordering for pickup (well at least thats what i wanted to do)she asked me my name and said she couldnt find it. without hesitation i gave her my phone number because they always spell my name wrong so i knew she wouldnt find me that way. i was told to order thru grubhub and hung up on. i called back about 8 times and its like they saw my number and purposely ignored my number. my kids enjoy the duck from the place clearly i do too thats why i order it so often. im very disappointed i...

Rice Shop is one of our favorite local restaurants. I would highly recommend roast duck with rice. The roast duck, pork etc. meat dish are always good. I even like the rice...rice seems to be even more tasty with fragrance (I am not kidding)... We also tried several other dishes, rice congee and scallion pancake etc . They are authentic Chinese food and tasty.

We had the spicy beef noodle soup and duck over rice. Both dishes are authentic, and delicious. Standard Americanized Chinese food is also available. They have an open kitchen and it is very clean. They do have a small store front with seating for dine-in customers. Great location, right on Washington St. I can't wait to try more item on the menu.

They're permanently closed. There's a For Rent sign in the window now. Not sure what happened, it seemed really sudden. They were always so busy. Perhaps too much for the new management so they called it quits at the end of their lease.

Not sure how this place is below a 4 star average. They are one of the best value lunch places in Hoboken. For $12 you can get a bunch of meat if your choosing. Hope they stick around and do good business.

This place got a new owner in 2021 (but kept the name unchanged). They now serve authentic Cantonese roast meats. I’ve been going there every week or so. The owner is super friendly.

Waited half an hour. Food did not come. Inquired as to status. Food had not been started. Asked for refund. They did not cancel charge. Need to file dispute

This place is closed 7pm. Came all the way here from another town because wifey had craving (prego). What a shame!
