A Sunday birthday lunch at Ricky & Pinky - just fantastic! The food was superb! We had a yum cha style banquet and there was a range of different dishes. The style and pacing of different dishes were excellent and extras of particular favourites no problem at all. Also, no problem was catering for vegetarians. While all the dishes were excellent, standouts were the Peking Style duck spring rolls, the pickled fungus and the Szechuan lamb. The food was complemented by a reasonable sized and interesting wine list and the service, friendliness and professionalism of the staff helped make it a stand out event. While not cheap it is superb and I highly recommend it.

Our party of 5 had a fabulous dinner at Ricky and Pinky. We started with the raw kingfish, salt and pepper squid, quail, wontons and dumplings, and then the pipis, braised beef, blue eye and fried rice for the main. The savoury dishes were delicious in flavour and generous serves. We had the banana semifreddo for dessert, a lovely, refreshing finish to the meal. All dishes were consistently tasty and the wait staff were attentive and helpful. A special mention to Shane for the great service.

Okay, I am a huge fan of everything these guys do and I love this pub. Ricky & Pinky is truly a stunning addition to the hotel, the street, the suburb, to Melbourne! We tried multiple starters and everyone was delicious. The dumplings were really special. But the wow dish, the lip smacking, we must eat all of this dish was the shredded, cumin lamb with bao. Truly a spice sensation. Tremendous service, great wine list, we will be back and back and back!

Had a great shared meal with friends eating tasty calamari, pipis, lovely fish, interesting salad, spicy black pepper beefEnjoyed the food altho excessively salty and made me so thirsty!! Not beautiful presentation always and the environment was so noisy and busy it detracted from the experience but it was a Saturday night. Maybe the dining area could be more shut off from the pub area so you can just enjoy the food with less other distractions! Réservez une table maintenant

Well maybe went in with slightly high expectations as run by the same people as Cumulus Inc/Cutler and Co etc. The restaurant looks quite nice, service was pretty good. Ordered the banquet for $65 a head, couldn't finish it so a decent amount of food. Most dishes were ok just nothing spectacular. The highlight was actually the lychee granita! The kingfish was another favourite and the duck pancake was quite nice.

We were here for dinner - it was a set menu. Not quite Chinese perhaps it is fusion Chinese for Australian taste buds.Started with Chinese pickles - carrots and cauliflower. Cold noodles followed by steam fish pieces which was the nicest and a roast pork shoulder. The pork skin cracker and meat was moist. Nice with steam buns but it needed some sauce to tie it together.Pseudo Chinese meal.

We had a family lunch last Saturday and ordered the banquet fro 8 people. The food was served in a timely fashion and was excellent. The duck was not available but was replaced by a succulent pork roast. The meal concluded with a granita desert. The service was very professional. One couple with a new baby was able to easily access the table. A very enjoyablelunch..

No earlier and no later. Wouldn't want issues with Her Majesty. Old school counter meal pub with gentlemen as clientele that read newspapers. Good tap beer. Good $12 rolls - priced like smashed avocado but without it. Worth a visit even if you're not LBGTICQxox Réservez une table maintenant
