My husband and I were at Ricky's on the holiday Monday. Man was it busy. We were there at 12 o'clock and finally got our food at 1:30. I had the chirzo breaky bowl. It was so good. I have been in food service for many years and was always trained full hands out full hands in. The waitress that we had was more interested in serving the table of young men than taking any orders. The couple that sat down beside us waited at least a half hour with her walking past them quite a few times. They ended up walking out. Absolutely ridiculous service.If you wanna spend two hours out for breakfast, this is the place for you..We waited 45 minutes just for drinks to arrive after asking twice, my glass of water didnt come until after our food arrived. Our two toddlers were waiting on their pancakes for over an hour and tables that came in after us were served first.One waitress was great and she really tried to fix things by giving me extra sauce for my Benny. ?Then had to wait over 20 minutes for the check.For the place not being all that busy this was a really terrible experience.We take our kids there often because they love the pancakes but we won't be going back.
Have been going to Ricky's with the family for many years in Mission. The quality of food was amazing it was fresh, hot and DELICIOUS!The servers was very courteous and well knowledged in each menu item and ingredients, and made sure we had lots of beverage refills when needed.Highly recommended you try this location out.Vegetarian options: They have a good selection of vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: The kids menu always comes with Crayons and or a game! Plus each kids meal includes ice cream with their own toppings station. Great selection of meals for every child.
Haven't been to a Ricky's in a long time. Interior decorating needs an update.Food was ok. Service was a bit slow. Waitress was friendly.Vegetarian options: I loved the veggie burger, the sauce was mm, yummy.Wheelchair accessibility: Was good. Parking could use better accessibility to those with walkers wheelchairs so when they get out they won't have to walk behind other parked vehicles! Tables were a bit tight for space for those in wheelchairs.
Ordered the fried shrimp po’boy with curly fries as the side off of skip the dishes. On the menu it says it comes with shrimp, sauce, shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, and pickle chips, there was only shrimp and sauce. Not what I ordered at all. On the fries there was some weird thing, I don’t even know how to describe it other than disgusting. This experience was terrible n I will not go to Ricky’s again
Had lunch onsite. First visit with 5 in the party. The service was fantastic, paid attention to detail.A very long wait to have the food delivered to the table, just over 40 mins.Saying that. The portions were large and very tasty.Very well value for the cost.Parking is free and a bit tricky. Wheel chair accessible.Again staff were fantastic.Thank you
It's one of my favourite restaurants. Love the food. I love the atmosphere. The staff is always friendly. The only negative is that they seem understaffed and it can take a bit. If you don't mind waiting or are on a date and enjoy the conversation then this is perfect.
