Ricky's Restaurant

Ricky's was always a place you went to when you wanted food just a step above homemade. The portions are ample but not excessive. The menu selection is adequate but not mind boggling. The other seven people in my group had very good food but all agreed it tasted rather phony. I, as I have many times in the past, ordered the normal order of turkey with all the fixings. Most restaurants used to give you rolls, soup or salad and coffee with entrees, but not Ricky's. You pay a high price (around $15 for the turkey dinner) but the basic meal is all you get. I was staying next door at the Comfort Inn and got up too late to get the free breakfast so I went over here to get some breakfast. The service was great and friendly however the food was only so-so. I ordered the Pirogies and Eggs. I had scrambled eggs which were a bit over done to the point they tasted dry and the sausage I had tasted more like a cold hot dog. However my pirogies were delicious and the portion size was good. The price was a little bit high though for what I got.

I had breakfast it was pretty good. The service was very slow especially getting the bill. I don't feel it was the server's fauktm it was just that she had so many tables to look after. It was Sunday morning and their are not a lot of restaurants open on Sunday morning.

Eaten here several times for breakfast or lunch and found that the service is top notch and there is a wide variety of choices on the menu....good Canadian/American fare food with large portions and very decent food.

Love the food here great atmosphere and just a fantastic place to spend time with friends. I've never went wrong with going here to eat and I take all my friends here so they can experience great food.

Food is great however this is a very busy place especially on weekend mornings. They need to do a major renovation including makin it bigger as there is no room in the lobby to wait

decent for a quick cheap meal, dont expect home cooking or high quality food. prime rib is decent but not of highest quality. Price is good though

Ridiculous prices. Prices have incredibly increased since several months ago. Almost $15 for the cheapest breakfast. Will not be going back.
