If you want to see a true Bavarian beer garden, this is the place to go. Wonderful old trees offer shade during a hot summer day. It is a restaurant with self-service and a kitchen is unacceptable. The man who serves speaks on the phone and at the same time. Consequently, he was really crunchy, asked three times what we wanted to eat and finally we did not get everything. Unacceptable and indeed shame for such a historic place.
Good location, walking distance from the city center (15-20 minutes). A lot of different types of beer and really interesting served beer tasting. The food was ok, there are a lot of typically German dishes, but also others. I had wiener schnitzel and it was good size, but I could really taste it was fried. Reasonable prices I would say. Friendly staff.
a really beautiful shady beer garden in best location. even though quite large with matching weather is also fast full. we like to go here every summer, we don't have it far. only with regard to the food (selection and quality) I would like to ask everyone to make themselves a picture. I think that's better.
My sister and nephew loved it last year and we liked it yesterday. Nice ambience. Recommend reservations as the best tables were reserved! Wood stool without pillows were painful after an hour! Great food and the best bear around! Loves the special sweet mustard. Réservez une table maintenant
Nice beer garden with high trees, directly at augsburg main station, 5 min to walk to city center. You must stand up and go to fetch your food or drinks, they do not serve at the table. You can also bring your own food there.
A large garden with picnic benches, self-service food, bar and small children's playground. Fantastic range of bars of beer and wine. Although we didn't eat, the food looked like Fab! Huge portions-so go with an appetite!
the beer garden really great. the opening times but unfortunately a total catastrophe. in the morning everything would be full today and here is not even open. very sad for those who like to go to the beer garden.
