Such a warm and sweet place. Everything is delicious and have so many kosher options. The blackout cake is so delish if you are a chocolate lover. They also have a day old section if you want a treat on a budget. They also have dog treats and always have special treat for special occasions like Easter or a Championship win. They also have a selection of card if your giving the baked good as a present. They do custom cakes as well for birthdays or other occasions. Big selection and good prices. I recently ordered a gluten-free cake for a 90th birthday, and it was not only delicious but also stunningly beautiful. The real whipped cream frosting and filling, combined with fresh strawberries, were simply delightful! Everyone at the party loved it! Riesterers never ceases to impress! I've been going there for decades, and I highly recommend this bakery in West Hempstead!
Your staff needs an upgrade or they need a course in bedside manner. I haven't been here since I was a kid and was excited to come in and get some treats for my family. I felt like I was doing something wrong inquiring about pricing and had more questions but DARE I bother the staff with such a petty question. I got some things and left and will order cakes elsewhere.
