Rifle Club Hotel

Handily located across the road from Williamstown North station I popped in after a visit to the railway museum. It's a typical pokies place but the wine was only $6 a glass so I stayed for a bit longer. It is quite large with a sizeable eating area. Not the Ritz but cheap and cheerful.

This place is meant to specialise in burgers ($12 each). The meat was horrible. My nacho burger was a joke. It consisted of tasteless meat, lettuce, nacho chips and not much else. My polite complaint fell on deaf ears. And my husband only ate his because he was hungry. Don't go.

Arrived there about 1:50pm for lunch they were just about to close the kitchen but did take our order. We ordered the Parma it was nice but a little small and salad was ordinary maybe a little rushed. Would go back again maybe a little earlier next time.

We had the best time here. Everything is reasonably priced too which is good for Williamstown. I highly recommend it.

This is pub with pokies , a bit run down , the service is good but there are better places to go in the area.
