This Gasthaus does not offer accommodation. The word Gasthaus in German generally means a pub or restaurant. This one is set in a small village with fine views on two sides over a valley and the more distant hills. There is a large terrace which...in the summer must be well used, and I think on a warm sunny Saturday in October, it would have been very busy at lunch time. However we arrived for the sunset which was very good so sat on the terrace. Our drinks order was taken quickly and arrrived, we had to wait a little longer to place a food order and it was nearly one hour before the main meal arrived. The cook must have had a busy lunch service and gone to lie down. There were some specials...

Gut bürgerliche, kleine Karte, dafür alles frisch und köstlich zubereitet. Bei schönem Wetter lohnt sich die Aussicht auf der Terrasse. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet, insbesondere der freundliche und zuvorkommende, italienische Kellner.

Wir waren heute das 2 mal dort ....das Essen ( Schweinerückensteak mit Kräuterkruste) war hervorragend. Service super super nett.Wenn man eine ehrliche Küche mit frischen Zutaten sucht, ist man dort genau richtig....
