A farmer turned vegan, giving up cattle breeding, and letting his cattle live out their lives now what a story! As they rent out two holiday homes in the old farm house Klosterhof we used the opportunity to stay there twice so far and it 's just a lovely, peaceful place for a holiday or short break. A small vegan breakfast which can be extended and the most excellent vegan lard is provided, and as the apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, cooking our own vegan meals was no issue alternatively, the Restaurant Sonnentor Leibspeis in Sprögnitz about 15 min drive from Klosterhof offers vegan meals too . A stay includes a visit to the paddocks where we were allowed to feed the cows and pigs and also if we dared to pet them. For day visitors, they offer events like open paddock days .
