I pass by RipTide every day on my commute to and from work. One day, I decided to give it a try since I was craving fish and chips. It turned out to be the best decision I made that day, as it was by far the best fish and chips I've had since moving to the East Coast. The fish was cooked to absolute perfection—unlike many other places I've tried, it wasn't overloaded with batter. The portion of fish was generous, and the chips were not only plentiful but also crispy. I will definitely be returning!
We visited on a bustling Friday night and, despite the crowd, Sharon, our waitress, managed everything on her own, likely due to staffing issues. She efficiently attended to the entire restaurant and was both attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding, as always. Plus, the entertainment by Billy Leetch was absolutely fantastic—definitely a 10 out of 10!
I've been visiting this restaurant for years, and it never disappoints. The staff is always friendly and greets you with a smile. I do wish they were open more often, as they have weekly specials that are closed on certain days. The food is consistently made to order and served quickly.
