Rising Star Coffee Roasters

I frequent many local coffee shops and always get an iced matcha with cold foam, I learned about this drink *from local businesses* as I’ve never been a big cafe goer until recently and prefer small biz. Today, my first time ordering with Rising Star, I asked for my drink how I am used to ordering it—I was swiftly met with a curt response “we don’t have cold foam we aren’t Starbucks.” Standing there in my Cleveland sweatshirt and yogas—I don’t understand why I was met with the sarcasm as if I was some kind of Starbucks snob. with my last trip to ohio I went to this diet to get my fave drink in the hope that she had it (seasonal item) and that they have. the cash register was nice and they had the drink to me very fast. was worth waiting!

I think this is the fourth Rising Star that I’ve visited in Cleveland. It’s always a good experience; today I had the cardamom bomb ? latte, mmm ? thanks Liz : I need to learn how to make the cool designs!

Coffee snobs, I asked for an ice water for my daughter after ordering coffee. The barista politely told me to go to the drinking fountain. Go to On the Rise instead where they appreciate their customers. Réservez une table maintenant

Good spot!Nothing amazing, but nothing worth avoiding. If I’m in that part of town again, I’d make a stop.It’s in a food court with some really good looking shops and a nice space to sit outside.

The cappuccino was tasty and had a surprisingly good underlying distinctive flavor. I greatly appreciated the sparkling water. It was a nice touch and a great finish.
