We stayed here for a night on our way to France. The place was cheap and we were not sure what to expect and I was a bit apprehensive when I noticed on Google Maps that the place was right under a motorway. That said, it was also very near the border crossing and suited us from that standpoint. When we got there one car park was full and there was space in another that was also for the hotel. When we checked in and asked if we should pay first, we were told cheerfully we could do so when we were leaving! We were shown to our rooms - which were very basic but VERY clean and very comfortable. We then went to the restaurant which was pretty full and had a lovely relaxed dinner - with what appea...
Oggi per lavoro mi trovavo da queste parti, conoscendo questo ristorante ho deciso di pranzare qui, ho mangiato pollo al cestello al curry, bevuto un'acqua gasata è un caffè, il posto è abbastanza carino e il personale è cortese e gentile, ho dovuto attendere un po' per ricevere l'ordinazione e perché mi venisse liberato dal piatto quando finito di mangiare, ma pazienza (non avevo per nulla fretta), ho solo notato che il prezzo per una bottiglia d'acqua gasata da soli 40cl si spendono fr 4.- il ché mi pare un tantino troppo per un'acqua piccola, per il pollo fr 22.- incluso patatine e s'alza al curry quindi questo ok e caffè pure ok
Molto comoda per me la posizione di questo ristorante. Con la nuova gestione si respira aria fresca e nuova e grande entusiasmo. D'estate è carino mangiare sula terrazza, la struttura interna del ristorante a me non piace molto... Pesce fresco e ottimo, per non parlare della tartare di manzo tagliata al coltello e preparata al tavolo: una favola!
It is definitely the best place to eat, and the best place to sleep! Staff is simply excellent, and the quality of food is very high. Oil and wine is very good, pizza simply amassing, prices are also very good in terms of general... Picture in Switzerland, I definitely recommend this restaurant for its integrity and Genuinità! Come sempre non delude mai il Borgovecchio , oggi abbiamo mangiato un ottimo pesce fresco , come primo un antipasto di crudo freschissimo, secondo una grigliata di pesce era qualcosa di speciale ottimo vino bianco .Insomma tutto perfetto come sempre, Se vi trovate a Balerna non mancate di passare perché sarebbe un peccato .
The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was spacious for 3 of us and the bathroom had a step up and then down to get into it, but it too was really spacious. The restaurant staff were really helpful and food was reasonable...price and good food. Onsite parking was a bonus.
