I can finally visit you. on arrival the reception of michela was very friendly and affectionate, greeting addressed to all with the same intensity girls included ( excellent hostess ). immediately young man left his kingdom and came to welcome us. our dinner was aimed at the tradition of Sardinian cuisine and the result is very good. the courses, from appetizers to desserts reflected the characteristics of "our and fresh " as well as good!!!! the presentation of the dishes was well-groomed, the only advice I can give (although I knew already ) is to describe the scope because it helps those who do not know our kitchen, it is also true that the room was full and mychela always paid attention...
This was our second visit to this very friendly Sardinian-run fish restaurant. Unfortunately the restaurant is rather dfficult to find, so the casual traveller is unlikey to drop in. In addition, it is definitely better to reserve since the cook can order in a specific fish for a specific customer. We ordered turbot and it was a perfect choice. The chef offers an array of starters. On our first visit greed overcame prudence and we went for 3 starters, and by the time the main course arrived we were already replete. For this second visit we went for just 2 starters, a superb tartare of tuna, and an equally delicious octopus dish, and when the royal turbot arrived we were definitely able to do...
Intrigued by the rumors circulated in the valley and after check on tripadvisor we decided to try it for dinner. excellent fish, prepared fresh at the moment, the quality of the dishes largely repays the waiting times that are long enough. good also the choice of wines. excellent availability of the chef (and master) who on request can order and cook what the customer requires. very intimate restaurant with a few tables, the reservation is recommended (also to anticipate special requests.) is definitely not an economic restaurant, you just have to be aware and adapt accordingly. Unfortunately the fish does not come from the moesa. recommended for fish lovers who want to get good dishes also...
I am a regular customer of this great restaurant, last night talking to chef john, I realized I never wrote a review!!!! What a mistake! I usually go with my wife or friends and we have always been great, innovative dishes, fresh, wanted, very often I choose the fish but also meat dishes deserve! the chef and wife michela are very kind and hospitable, the place is intimate and very well cared for in detail. It is a small place of those sought, which you must know or be advised to find it. I live a few hundred meters. we have been for the first time, in this small restaurant in mesolcina and we will definitely return, eaten a menu all based on fish really exceptional that not even in places of sea eat, a raw of scampi and shrimps of the highest quality, a fish mug with crustaceans and molluscs as from nowhere else a true leccornia, of the cutlini with lemon and exceptional locusts and a ricciola cotta
we stayed at the cairo restaurant with a group of friends to eat the specialty of the house: the roast pig. all courses, from appetizer to dessert, are delicious and presented with great creativity. excellent choice of wines. the owners are very kind and the service is unexceptionable. very nice, family and welcoming environment.
