We arrived in Poschiavo on the Bernina Express from Chur to have some emphasis on our journey to St. Moritz. This railway station restaurant gets its name from the train station. This was a perfect place for us to take a bite, take a quick walk around the city and catch our train within the hour. Lunch on the terrace with spectacular views of the mountains was simply blessed! It was a sunny, crunchy day and we enjoyed sitting outside. They also have a garden area that could be cool for large groups or evening drinks. We had some time to kill Poschiavo and wait for Bernina Express to pick us up again. Before we had already searched the reviews online for this place, and they were generally good. We noticed that some local workers there always have a good sign. We had some pasta of the day and a pizza, and both were good. The pizza was very tasteful. I love this kind of up to earth places that just focus on giving you delicious food. That's one of them. The waitress was friendly, service was fast. If I ever come back to Poschiavo, I'm sure I'll stop there.
Visited here and waited for the Bernina Express train through the Alps to St Moritz. The place has a rustic feeling with a traditional wooden chalet look at it. Very cozy and welcoming. It is quite small so when you visit in peak times or with a big tour party, you will fight to sit somewhere. I and my partner had both hot chocolate, which was much needed in the cold of Switzerland and was beautiful. Can't comment on food, stop dignity for a quick refreshment pit.
Not exactly a warm welcome but it was handy for the station. Rather abrupt service. My wife 's omelette was OK. I ordered the ravioli in sage butter, I was served tortellini with the words your ravioli . It was passable (just) but in Italian-speaking Switzerland, this is not acceptable. I expressed surprise but no action was taken. I didn 't have the energy to argue.
