Visited with my husband. We started by ordering a beer and a Prosecco, my husband got his beer, but around 10 minutes later my Prosecco still hadn't arrived. When I tried to politely get the Waitresses attention I got an agitated 'yes yes, one minute' but she never came back. She passed our table several times, but completely ignored us. After several more minutes my husband ended up going inside and asked for my drink, which the waitress appeared with and plonked it on the table without saying a word. Then we tried to order food.... I told one of the two ladies (who had already told us to let her know when we were ready to order) that we were ready and we got another 'yes, one minute'. So we sat and waited and waited. During this time we were completely ignored even after asking another three times to order! In the mean time, other customers who had arrived after us were served and at one point one of the waitresses even sat down at the table next to us to chat to some of her friends who were eating there! We were made to feel completely alienated and unimportant. It was almost as if the place was for locals only and us holiday makers were just a hindrance! After what felt like a very uncomfortable eternity we decided to up and leave. I took some money to the waitress and told her that we were leaving. I tried to be polite and and said that what I had given should cover our two drinks and more. I just got a 'leave it on there, thanks, bye!' and she walked off without another word. We got the feeling that if we had not been English we would have been treated a bit better. We ended up a little further up at the Edelweiss Hotel restaurant where we were treated exceptionally and enjoyed some great food and drink!
