if they are an Italian in new and need a real Italian experience, michele is the nr 1. michele and his tasty woman nina lead the business very long and their suggestions are good their call because the entrance when they are greeted with a smile and cordial welcome from the great heart of South Italy. as soon as they 're in, well, they check the menù that suits for all taste, and without too many formal favors their appetit will not just be happy, but I say 'd really happy. they can start with fresh antipasti vegetables, or finally bruschetta with tomato slices in olive oil extravergine, and go on for exams, with linguine al tartufo nero (black truffles.) as yesterday I had linguine tonight...
we were here because it was near the hotel where we lived (hotel indigo). the restaurant itself was very nice inside and the menu offered a good selection of Italian food. as vegetarian I found a few dishes that looked appetizing. I have a noodle dish with an olive oil sauce and my friend has a Tortellini noodle dish, I think. both meals were delicious (I tried some of him, just as he was mine). overall it was a delicious meal. if it hadn't been our last night in düsseldorf, we would definitely have gone back.
we came by to try this Italian, as we work close. we chose a kitchen favorite, pasta with truffles and a pizza with sharp Italian salami. the pasta was ok, the pizza was rather bad. the sharp Italian salami on the pizza dept as cheap looking standard salami from the super market and not sharp. unfortunately no real recommendation in neuss.
great discovery in new! beautiful location and friendly service. the hot pizza bread dumplings, crumble butter and olives at the arrival were delicious. the fresh mushroom ravioli with an ointment sauce with a glass pinot ggrigio was perfect!
