Service was great. The only server at the restaurant was running around attending to the tables. She was for sure very hard working. The outside of the restaurant was dark and we were not even sure if it was open. Once you step into the restaurant, to our surprise, the interior looks cozy and has a nice Italian ambience to it. Food was just ok. Not horrible but not the best. Even though we love Garlic, every dish was overpowered with raw garlic. The calamari fritti were not too greasy and it was a good start to the meal. Love the layout of this place and that they let you pick your table. Some booths, some private alcoves, sidewalk and a little raised area overlooking all to choose from. Nice Italian wine menu and a lovely prosecco to start. We had the minestrone as a starter. A large bowl served piping hot with nice fresh vegetables. A turn of pepper was offered and it added to the dish. Gnocchi with Gorgonzola was likely the best cheesy sauce in town and the gnocchi was good. My tablemates enjoyed the linguini with mussels, clams and white wine sauce and the daily special of seafood ravioli. Service was a bit slow. This place hasn't been open for long, but it is already a hit. We've been waiting for a really good restaurant to come to Hayward, and this is the one. Great food, obviously prepared with care and attention to detail. Owned by two brothers, who also work the front of house. The lamb shank was amazing. I asked for pasta to go with the steak special, instead of potatoes. The pasta was a real highlight. We will definitely come back again. You should too!
Great minestrone soup. Beautiful bread with an EV0/Balsamm... The wine card is limited, but the food is delicious. If you order the gnocchi della casa ask for no mozzarella, it does not need and would be better served with a dry parmesan. Veal selections looked nice, but we didn't have the room to try them. Overall a pleasant place with a beautiful atmosphere and not overpriced. Enjoy

I am not familiar with Hayward so found this place on Open Table. The server, Juneight, was fantastic and not afraid to tell us what wine to order, Italian with Italian! The Carpaccio appetizer was not very flavorable but I had the rack of lamb and my husband had the lamb shank. They were both excellent ! We will definitely go back!
The order was completely confused and the food was mediocre. Asked for chicken on a salad, salmon on another but not. I asked for dressing on the side, neither. When we asked for a refund, the server did not speak a great English language, which is not a propblem, but it did not really understand what we wanted.
Great dinner! Everything was so delicious, from bed with olives and diving, to gnocchi, chicken and vegetables! Everything's perfect! Great service!
Great experience can't wait to go back and try a different dish and a different bottle of wine (we had the moscato)

Italian food is very good and chicken aleredo was amazing, Pollo Spargi was very tasty
