Ristorante Garibaldi

Found this lovely restaurant overlooking the Inn on the last night of our Danube bike tour after getting back from Vienna. Owner was very friendly and helpful and immediately made us feel at home. Even though we hadn't booked, a table was made available. The amount of reserved tables certainly gave an indication of the popularity of the restaurant.The menu selection was really goodSuperb bruschetta , lovely pizza and a really good gnocchi and prawn dish confirmed we had made the right choice.We would really recommend this restaurant and would go again tomorrow if we weren't back in England.

We were in Scharding for a day and wandered in for dinner sans a reservation. We were seated by the owner, who greeted us warmly.The only difficulty we had was that we had wanted one pizza to split, not two. We went ahead and enjoyed a pizza each, along with a bottle of wine. Finished off the meal with a Tiramisu. Wait staff was prompt and friendly and the owner visited our table as well.I would return and based upon our visit am a bit puzzled why this restaurant is rated as low as it is in the city.

Ingrid the owner of Garibaldi is the sweetest person and will make you feel at home there. We used to have a group of Brazilians going there every night and we had VIP service and use to have a great time there. The food is impeccable and with a lot to choose from. Just go there and have a great time.

What a surprising good place to eat. Located at the river Inn. Lovely minestrone and great salmon with vegetables. The food was not only very good, how it was presented on the plate - loved it. Friendly service :-)

Great resto good Italian cuisine and friendly Italian staff quality ingredients and a relaxing atmosphere. Great view to the Inn
