Basterebbe il cartello all'entrata "Uelcom to de grott" e quello che recita "Qui non ha mai mangiato Mick Jagger" per farti stare bene. Invece entrando in questo magnifico locale la situazione migliora ancora. Ambiente caldo e accogliente, simpatia a vagonate, cucina raffinata e cantina eccellente. Che cosa pretendere di più? Nulla! Assolutamente nulla. L'esperienza fatta al Grotto Riviera è una di quelle cose che ti restano dentro. Quasi quasi verrebbe voglia di non recensirlo, tanta è voglia di proteggerlo dalla massa, ma non sarebbe giusto in quanto la professionalità e la competenza misti ad un po' di follia, sono da premiare assolutamente.Grazie, grazie, grazie.Ci ritornerò sicuramente.
Good food, even better experience!! Had an amazing experience on a quiet Wednesday evening. Super hospitable and very passionate owner, who made it with his eye for detail a great evening. The restaurant itself stands out on terms of design/decoration, music comes from a record...player, which is frequently changed by the owner and you pick your own wine bottle from the cellar. As said, food is good, lamb was cooked to perfection. Thanks for a great evening and interesting conversations about things that really matter.
I thought it was great!Food was simple yet typical and very good. Menu was surprising - in a good way! ;)Loved the team, professional and welcoming. I felt at home...which is exactly what they aim for based on their interior, the ambiance, the fire burning in the chimney...They were present but not constantly waiting around the table, taking plates away and making you feel like you need to rush...super friendly!Such a relaxing experience even though it was a corporate dinner. We spent a Sunday evening in this Grotto while most of the other restaurants in Agno were closed. We ordered a big salad for two followed by coniglio (rabbit), a typical Ticino recipe, and a meat skewer as our main. The meat was perfect grilled,...and the coniglio was at its best we enjoyed very much. The people are very nice and they speak English and German besides Italian. Very local customers and not too many tourists. Réservez une table maintenant
In un'atmosfera rilassata, siamo stati serviti con cordialità e garbo. Io mi sono gustato una bruschetta alla luganiga e Zincarlin, seguita dallo Spiedone Riviera accompagnato da "baked potato" e verdure miste. Sono rimasto più che soddisfatto, come è anche stato con la panna cotta proposta e servita quale dessert.
Super Ambiennte, tolle Gastgeber, persönlicher Servicio, regionale Auswahl... im Sommer autentische Grotto-Bestuhlung (Steintische....). Mein Lieblingsessen: Fleischspies... aber das Gattelo (Mistkrazerli) a la rabiata ist top! Ganz Speziell wie der Weinkeller angelegt ist
Abbiamo mangiato in un ambiente molto piacevole. Metà grotto, metà trattoria.Noi abbiamo optato per lo spiedone: cotto a puntino con degli ottimi contorni. Buoni i desserts. Buona anche la scelta dei vini che si fa direttamente in cantina. Personale cordiale e simpatico.
