Ristorante La Casetta

What a fantastic restaurant. Random choice from Trip Advisor but a great find. Hidden away in a predominantly residential area the expectation waned somewhat but on arrival we found fantastic staff (family owned) who couldn't have hosted us any better. The limited menu concerned but unnecessarily so as the food was superb and the wine was great. Long time since I've been so impressed with such a simple restaurant proposition but these guys nail it. We're back again tonight and have a confirmed table outside.

This small Italian restaurant is one of my favorites in Düsseldorf. Located in a small, 18th century, quaint Haus in the Niederkassel section of Düsseldorf this restaurant is a must if you are looking for an intimate dinner with your partner or a good time with friends. Everything is perfectly prepared and presented by Mario and his wife. Excellent menu, service and ambiance. When we lived in Düsseldorf we were regulars and always return when we visit the area. Don't miss it!

Tucked away in a quiet part of Düsseldorf, near the River Rhine, this little restaurant was a great find. The star of the show was Mario who blew us away with his kindness and friendliness. The food was amazing and very Italian which we adored! The dessert was just as good as the main meal. We ordered chocolate lava cake, but we were also given another dessert to taste for free! Great atmosphere, very cozy and we will definitely come here again! Thanks Mario!

We were are large group, and Mario looked after us over several nights (and several bottles of wine). Great place, tucked away out of the way. Managed to fix us in even during the busy tradeshow season, and served wonderful food with great suggestions for wine. A relief not to have to bother with the menu! Even drove some of us back to the hotel one evening when the weather was bad! Fantastic! All the best from Shaquille, (Drupa 2016) Réservez une table maintenant

We had an amazing evening at Casetta and we were looking for an intimate setting for our anniversary. The building is small, quaint, and charming. We tried the deer and appetizer plate and it was excellent! Mario was the best and did everything he could to accommodate us (even without a reservation). We can't wait to go back

Had a wonderful time, everything we tried was fresh and tasty, it really felt like it was home cooked. Mario (from the family that owns the restaurant) was very attentive and a great company. A true local restaurant. Also has a small terrace for the summer

It was a very nice dinner. The owner is super gentle and has taken us very well. Important to book in advance. Great food, good wine and excellent appetizers. Attention as cash only/no credit cards at least the day I was.

Mario does a fabulous job interacting with the guests and suggesting wine. The food is fresh and original. Go without a menu. Ask for the mixed antipasta, pasta and order a meat dish. Let Mario suggest the wine. Réservez une table maintenant

We had our dinner here after a long day of sightseeing and shopping. This was the perfect way to end our day. The service was excellent. The food was amazing.
