This place is one of the many GEMS in San Francisco! If you’re looking for a great dinner, with FRESH food, excellent service, delicious recipes, and perfect portions, THIS IS THE PLACE. I’m not much of a Lamb eater, but the Costoletta di Vitello is a MUST TRY for all meat lovers. The Chicken Marsala was also a hit, and don’t forget to get a slice of Tiramisu before you leave or you WILL REGRET IT. I definitely recommend eating here and will definitely be returning on my next trip to San Francisco. Thank you for your food and your service Ristorante Milano!
My wife and I have been going to Ristorante Milano for probably 20 years. From time to time I have left a favorable review. Last night we went there with 3 friends. I decided I needed to write another review because the experience last night was probably the best of all the previous experiences. The food was absolutely outstanding. We shared the salmon special and the ravioli special. All five of us raved about how good they were. Ristorante Milano is a real gem.
The attentiveness w/o hovering, the presentation w/o making it look too cute and the overall graciousness made this a place we will definitely return to. The waiter 's professionalism, knowledge and good humor were a delight and each of us thought our dish was excellent.
This unassuming San Francisco Italian staple is a wonderful setting for a date night, casual dinner, or fun with friends. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable of their wines. The food was absolutely outstanding. A truly proper Italian dinner on the west coast.
