Ristorante Pizzeria Balmelli

Balmelli is a beautiful, local restaraunt that is 20 minutes from town on the way to Montagnola. It's easy to find and you can easily walk from Town if your adventurous or take a taxi or bus. The outdoor garden is quaint and lovely and the owner is always very kind to bring complementary bruschetta to start and a lovely Limoncello when you finish. We went twice to this restaraunt as it was weakling distance to our hotel and the Schnitzel was incredible. Best we have had in a long time. The Sea Bass is also exceptional with wonderful local capers. Definitely worth going for the ambiance and food.

A lovely lunch under the trees. Excellent seafood dishes including pasta frutti di mare, mixed seafood grill, excellent calamari ripieni & an octopus salad. Highly recommended. Great service in a lovely ambience.

This is a great little neighborhood joint with delicious food. Don't pass up dessert and a nice bottle of wine. We thought the ambiance, service, and pizza were super. We will be back.

Enjoyed lunch there with a few friends, portions size are really generous. Food was tasty, will be back per sure.
