This restaurant is away from the central part of Bern. It is an attractive appearing restaurant, it has a staff that is very welcoming and the food is great. We enjoyed our first night at this restaurant so much that we returned the next night. The menu has a wide variety of options. My friend enjoys liver and was surprised to find it on the menu. She found the meal was cooked to perfection. However there were a number of other items on the menu that she would have wanted to try. This was the clincher to return the next night. Ich bin seit eh und je Stadtberner. Kenne also diverse Restaurants. Normalerweise bin ich nicht so kritisch. Aber das Essen überzeugte mich gar nicht. Crouton auf dem Nüssler in Fett getränkt und wohl scho älter. Cordon bleu wässrig und fade. Normalerweise mache ich keine Bewertungen. Aber heute war ich enttäuscht. Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Ambiente gut. Damit holte das Restaurant noch einen Punkt. Schade.
Über Mittag mehre Menus zur Auswahl, Salat vorab war absolut in Ordnung und Hauptgang (Teigwaren, Erbsli, Schinken, Rahmsauce) ebenso. Flinker Service und Preise sind ganz okey. Liegt direkt neben der Tramhaltestelle und Strasse, deshalb vor allem draussen etwas laut.
War wieder mal an einem Mittag bei diesem Italiener, Mittags drei Menus zur Auswahl, Pizza, Fisch od. Fleisch und Vegi. Entschied mich für das Scaloppine mit Beilagen. Recht gut aber etwas trocken, Salat fein, Gemüse wenige, Bedienung aufmerksam
