Elegant, charming and tasteful glamorous! The place radiates a calm joy. Top quality ingredients make for fine meals that are as close to the senses as they are to the body. It does not feel like eating healthy (although it is), it feels like eating it royally. Each detail has been carefully selected to improve the experience, from the Golden Place Settings to the Broches of Waiting Staff. The ambience is more tea rooms than coffee shop, but I am happy to finally have a place in Jacksonville, where I would be proud to invite someone to meet me for coffee... It is a great atmosphere to impress a customer or relax with a friend! FB listed it as, but it's not. It's very cheap.
The food here is amazing! I tried the grilled cheese with bacon and fig-comonie, and was in Awe at the prosperous flavors! I also enjoyed a fabulous cup of cinnamon plums (comes in a cute loose leaf teapot) and the waitress refilled my hot water so that I could have more than one cup! Had a yogurt sample and you could literally taste the difference in quality from the serv-yourself yogurt fad places. Beautiful cream brule!!! Really a fabulous first experience! The service was great, I really enjoyed listening to the story of the owner and the food was delicious and healthy!
I need to visit ritual this afternoon for lunch with one of my best friends... What a wonderful place!... The decor was just beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious!... It was wonderful to see the attention to detail that went into this great little place, and really able to feel the calm atmosphere they created... In a world where people are too often in a hurry, ritual is a great place to slow down!... If you had no opportunity to visit it, you should!
