While reasonable for the odd beer when watching a non-popular sports event, I did have a very dud experience which will stop me from ever coming back.
I was told when booking a table for a popular sports event that the Ritz would not take bookings. I didn't believe them so called back twice to 2 different people and got the same result. So I did not have a booking and was expected to rock up early on the day.
Then come the day, I rock up and EVERY table was booked! And we were forced to sit on the floor. Liars...I have never ever seen so much dishonesty exhibited from either pub or restaurant staff.
If you want a bad service experience then definitely come here. Otherwise no way jose!

This was my first time at this restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. The hotel is spacious, modern, and tidy, and the food passing by looked great. The service was friendly, and I particularly loved the huge sports screen that can be seen from anywhere in the hotel. Its proximity to the train station makes it convenient for enjoying a few drinks without the worry of driving. I plan on returning to try the food and will update this review once I have sampled and enjoyed it. In conclusion, Hurstville has plenty to offer, and this restaurant is a valuable addition to the area's dining options.
To be honest, this restaurant was not good. It felt more like a sports bar with a gambling room and a basic bistro added on. However, I suppose that's what most pubs are like. But that doesn't excuse how bad and tacky this place was. The beer selection was very limited and I had to choose between bad options. The atmosphere was lackluster as well. Even if you're in the area, I would suggest avoiding this place as there are better options nearby.
Massive big screen up front for the sports fans. The portions were very generous, a huge bucket of wings for a small price. The quality won't blow your mind, its standard pub grub and the price is right.
