The last time I went to this restaurant was 2012 and it was always a hive of activity and full of customers locals and tourists alike. The staff were lovely and really got to know the locals and visitors. Their food was amazing and priced well. I couldn't wait to go back... I have been many times at different times mainly summer and early autumn, This time was early autumn and I went a few times while I was visiting family and friends. It has new owners and has had a massive upgrade it looks very upmarket, but the atmosphere is cold and has lost its spark. The owners had attitude, even with regulars. One evening I was lucky enough to be sitting with locals at the Stampt Tisch and was shocked...
Friendly family owned restaurant serving good quality food in good-sized portions. The Rehragout tasted well, the accompanying Rotkraut was very good. The Limoncelloeisparfait was OK, but the Heidelbeereisparfait disappointed being seemingly too old.Wine list is limited. I have no comparison with other restaurants in town.
