Riva Bella - Réserver une table

Arrived early at 1.30pm so we knew it would probably be too early to check in, but asked anyway. Was told our room wasn 't ready until 4 o 'clock but was given access to the spa, which was good, but we decided to go for a little drive and explore the area instead,(it was lashing rain). Came back to the hotel just before 4 to check in, now another receptionist. Was informed that our room was not ready, we said check in is at 4, was told it 's From 4 o 'clock! Sat down in the reception area to wait and we waited for 1 hour when we were handed our key with no apology or explanation on the hotels facilities or how to get to our room... The only hotel we came across on our travels, that has such a late check in and doesn 't try to accommodate their guests. So needles to say, we were not impressed by the service in the reception, (we also were left waiting 5-10 minutes for the receptionist attention, who was always on the phone when approached). Found the card system with the robes very unnecessary... Why not just leave robes in the room 's, if they have gone missing charge it to the guests room then... Otherwise our stay was OK, enjoyed the spa, the room was OK and the location of the hotel is great, right on the beach and walking distance in to the centre. Sorry about the long review but hard to explain the situation in a few words.

This restaurant serves patrons of the Thalazur spa and reflects the healing atmosphere and ambience of the sea that fringes the complex. It is open to the general public, but the ambience is one of restfulness and wholesomeness, as befits the purposes of the spa. Some visitors may find this a bit disconcerting at first, but the service is charming and skilful. A three course meal for two costs about Euro 100, and represents excellent value for money. Drinks are extra but are not overpriced. The restaurant caters discretely and cheerfully for children and babies. My wife and I would cheerfully drive 80 km for a meal here. Although we've only dined there twice in two years we were remembered and welcomed as old friends. We shall dine there again.

We stayed here the night before, our ferry crossing back to the UK. We weren’t too sure what to expect, as hotels in France can be quite different to the Uk. However, we were over impressed by the cleanliness, friendliness and quality of the food. The beds were incredibly comfy and after a day on the road, made a wonderful comforting retreat for the night. Although no beer on the restaurant menu, my request was met without any hesitation. Would highly recommend the steak and beer.

Great choice of dishes, well presented and worth mentioning an excellent and super friendly service. If weather allows try to eat outside with a view of the dunes.

Friendly efficient staff, clean comfortable rooms with almost total silence at night. Probably the best breakfast buffet I have ever encountered.
