Mom and I ate here today. She got the lasagna (She said it was the best she had ever eaten... sauce was clearly homemade and authentic� Her side salad was more than expected. It had the usual toppings, but the added pecans and homemade dressing were delish! I had the turkey and Brie with hand cut fries. Both were yummy. David was our waiter, and was fantastic. He was friendly, knew the menu, and accommodated us nicely. It was an overall great experience. We will be back for the Wednesday shrimp special bringing others!
Absolutely delicious meals! 100% recommended. You have a beautiful terrace that is wonderful to sit on a beautiful day. Our waitress didn't know how to wear her mask. Her big nose has snapped out all the time. However, the rest of the staff wore their masks responsibly so that he was soothing. Despite the faux paus of our waitress, it was a great meal. I will probably return (and only hope for another waitress).
First time eating here, and it was great! The food was delicious. Our server was great and attentive, and they care about presentation too. I got a half rack of ribs, they didn't look perfect when they came to the table, and the manager said he didn't like that, and brought me a second half rack of ribs that looked perfect!! I will be coming back for the delicious food, and great service. 5 Stars.
An exceptional dinner last evening, fried catfish with red beans and rice topped with tomato chutney. Couldn't stop eating this perfectly cooked meal. Fish was perfectly fried and moist, red beans and rice were flavorful, tender, but no mush in sight. The fried green tomato and pimento cheese stack with flash fried baby kale, was also a perfect app but could have served as a main. We'll be back. Réservez une table maintenant
We visited the restaurant yesterday with a large group, and I can't praise the service and food enough. I ordered the chicken salad, and it was fantastic. The waitstaff were attentive and catered to our every need, despite the fact that we were part of a large party and the restaurant was busy with other guests. I would highly recommend this place as a top choice for dining in the area.
The atmosphere instantly creates a cozy and welcoming vibe. As a first-time guest, I wasn't sure what to expect, but River Birch exceeded my expectations with its fantastic ambiance, friendly and attentive staff, and, most importantly, delicious food! I highly recommend the Pimento Cheese appetizer and the Crème Brûlée for dessert. I can't wait to visit River Birch Lodge again!
I visited for my daughter's 21st birthday brunch, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was professional and friendly. We were seated promptly, our drinks arrived quickly, and the food was fantastic! As we were leaving, the waitress even took a moment to wish her a happy birthday. Thank you for making this special day truly memorable!
I do not eat the standard American diet. I have therefore cut out sugar, flour, gluten, and as many chemicals as I can. This restaurant has been very accommodating in the past and they were wonderful last night. I was able to order two large servings of spinach with scallops. They were delicious.
