River Ducks Ice Cream

This ice cream shop located next to the river is wonderful, offering a wide range of flavors and excellent service from Maya. The portions are generous and were the perfect reward after a morning hike at Camden State Park. I sampled the Mt. Battie Cherry and Wild Blueberry flavors, both of which were delicious. I also appreciated the dairy-free and gluten-free options available, even though I didn't try them on this visit.

This charming little restaurant is located near the river and offers a wonderful selection of flavors, fun sundae combinations, and soft serve ice cream. There is a small outdoor seating area next to the stand, as well as a footbridge over the water. The prices are reasonable, but they only accept cash. This was the best ice cream we had during our entire road trip through Maine!

I believe they are updating their menu because online it showed only a lemon sorbet that was not labeled as vegan. In person, they actually had 2 vegan options, but unfortunately they were out of the strawberry lemon flavor. Nevertheless, the chocolate chunk flavor was excellent and the staff was extremely friendly!

We tried a mixed cone of Maine blueberry cheesecake and brown butter bourbon truffle flavors. Even the presence of an older man coughing loudly couldn't detract from the enjoyable atmosphere of eating our ice cream on the footbridge. Rachel particularly enjoyed the peanut crunch topping. This restaurant was a hit with them, especially the delicious vegan chocolate cookie ice cream. Located near a beautifully decorated footbridge, it's a must-visit in Camden.

Small ice cream stand located right next to a very pretty, recently renovated bridge over a stream. Our chocolate and strawberry ice cream cones were all very good.

Cash only!! Super cute ice cream spot hidden behind the Camden shops area. We got blueberry cheesecake ice cream and it was divine!
