I hosted a dinner for my son's graduation party with 20 guests, and everyone enjoyed the food immensely! We kicked things off with a selection of appetizers, and the boneless ribs were the best I've ever had! Each person chose their own main courses, and once again, nobody was let down! The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the service was outstanding. I’m really looking forward to dining there in the summer so we can sit outside by the water and take in the view of NYC. I wholeheartedly recommend River House!
River House is not disappointed. We are here several times and the food is delicious, consistent and reasonable price. This time we ordered yang chow fried rice, chicken curry, mango chicken, beef with Chinese broccoli, and sweet and sour pork. All very good plus a view of the city and next to the Hudson River. For this visit I liked the Yang-Chow and the sweet and sour pig. Our bill was about $100 for a group of 4, plus tips. Service is friendly and fast.
We recently discovered a fantastic new Chinese restaurant in Edgewater, and we couldn't be more pleased! The food is not only delicious but also prepared with the freshest ingredients. The atmosphere is wonderful, with beautiful views of the river that enhance the dining experience. Kevin, the manager, is friendly and welcoming, making each visit a memorable one. This has quickly become our favorite spot for Chinese cuisine!
The standard by which all other Chinese food should be judged! My husband I had been eating at Jade Village Inn since we were teenagers. We had our wedding reception there 3 years ago. Last year we mourned its closure. This year we made the trip to River House were not disappointed! Everything was just as good or better than we remember! We’ll be back for more! Tony and his team have revamped the delightful Jade Village menu while still keeping the classic dishes that established Jade as the best Chinese restaurant in Rockland County. Now located in a stunning new spot in Edgewater, NJ, featuring outdoor seating right by the water, River House is definitely worth the journey, no matter where you're coming from.
