River Kwai - Réservation de table

One of my many visits to the River Kwai over the years The food here is superb, beautifully flavoured and just an absolute pleasure to consume The staff are lovely and friendly, especially the main host… such a lovely lady! The atmosphere feels so authentic with Thai style decor and even very soft oriental music playing in the background. The restaurant is small but this just adds to it’s charm and helps it maintain its intimate setting Went with a friend who has not been before and he said he will definitely be returning too! Wish I’d taken more photos but when the plates landed, all I could think about was eating! 5 stars 10 out of 10 2 thumbs up… whatever top praise I can give!!

I decided to finally write a review for the River Kwai having had genuinely excellent takeaway food several times in the last year. There 's some solid competition in the area too, and the River Kwai is now our 'go to ' for all things Thai. Bold flavours, very generous portion sizes, speedy service and excellent VFM. Particular favourites include most starters, massaman curries, prawns in garlic pepper sauce, pad Thai and lemon chicken. 100% recommended.

We hadn't booked a table in advance and took a gamble that they would have space. I've eaten here once before, so I hoped the food would be as good as before. The food was incredible, presented beautifully and just so very tasty. We ordered a set menu and the amount of food for 2 people was amazing and we ended up taking some of it home. Really cannot rate this place highly enough. Can't wait to visit again soon!

The restaurant serves real and authentic food, prepared and served with care and attention. The waitress is incredibly lovely and helpful, enhancing the overall dining experience. The dishes are made using fresh ingredients and offer a true Thai taste. While the wait time may be slightly longer, the quality of the food makes it worth it. Every time we visit this restaurant, the food is always amazing and we will definitely be coming back again. The Pad Thai is incredibly delicious and there are so many choices on the menu. The server, a lovely lady, was very attentive and even offered to pack up our leftovers for us. A truly superb dining experience!

A small and compact restaurant and one recommended to us by our niece who uses it regularly: a thoroughly enjoyable evening and meal and everyone in our family group had a lovely time. Especially recommend the sharing starter dishes and red curry dish. Our first time here, but definitely not our last.

A group of 9 of us had dinner at this restaurant. The food was fantastic and all of our dishes were served simultaneously, offering a wide variety of options to choose from. We have dined here before and appreciate the reasonable prices. We would definitely return again in the future.

We opted for a set meal for two but ended up extending it to three. The food arrived promptly, was elegantly presented, and tasted absolutely delicious. Casual Thai restaurant in the high street. Prawn crackers were amazing. All the food was so tasty, we had sharing starters, a selection of curries, pad Thai, rice etc, all was very good. It’s not fancy, but really nice food with very good service.
