River Mill Restaurant

We were a group of 12 for a private birthday lunch. We had a 3 choice menu. Soup or salad, pasta or salmon or chicken. For dessert a flourlless chocolate torte or creme brulée. I chose the salad, salmon and creme brulée. The salad was very good. The salmon, a generous portion, perfectly cooked served on a bed of Quinoa with some under cooked carrots and a red ?and 1/2 a Brussel sprout.The creme Brulée had a rock hard top served in a ramekin straight from the fridge; topped with a few fresh berries. A beautiful location but the food was absolutely awesome, starters were excellent, the main was the best steak I've ever had, the dessert was so good I had to steal an extra one from the person who wasn't eating it (their loss). We took over the whole place for a wedding party and it was a very successful party, staff were excellent servers.

Best restaurant experience my wife and I have had for years. Exceptional service and the food was great. I had the hangar steak prix fixe special and my wife had the gnocchi and the octopus calamari. It's not cheap, but it was worth every dollar and more.
