This restaurant is a fantastic choice for outstanding Mexican cuisine, and I highly recommend it. I tried the daily special—two carnitas served with rice and beans—and it was superb. Everyone else in my party enjoyed their meals as well. The shredded chicken was some of the best I've ever had; it was incredibly moist. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the positive experience. Since the restaurant is quite popular, I recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a table. If you’re planning to host an event and want to treat your guests to Mexican cuisine, Rivera’s is a great option. My family held an event there, and everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food. One of the best features is that you can decorate the adjacent room, making it cozy and perfect for gatherings. We all had a blast, complete with dancing! The only downside is the parking situation, but if you remember to check for street parking, you should be fine. You might also consider encouraging your guests to carpool, as we did, to reduce the number of vehicles—just a thought!

Fantastic food! You can truly taste the love in every dish, and everything is incredibly fresh. The restaurant has so much to offer in terms of atmosphere, and I really admire the interior design. The service was impeccable! They serve Pozole and Menudo all week long, which is a great highlight. The only downside is that the prices for bottled beers seem a bit steep, but the value for larger options is reasonable. Overall, the food is absolutely delicious!

Our favorite Mexican restaurant when we come to Long Beach. It's small, but it's worth waiting. The Pozole is excellent!!! Never disappointed, great customer service and very clean toilets.

I could tell that the menudo was made with a lot of care. The tripe was cut into small pieces and was very flavorful. I'm so glad I discovered my new go-to place for menudo since moving!
