We had to wait almost 15 minutes for a table when there were several tables open. Our waited, a blonde, finally seated us and let us know they were 2 people short, we then had to wait another 10 minutes for our drinks. Another 10 minutes before we ordered. It took over 30 minutes for our order to come out, when it did come out another waitress brought our food. Not one did our waitress check on us once our food was out. I took a bite of my burger and it was horrible. It tasted burnt, only had maybe 4 olive on it, and it tasted like it was dropped on the floor. If you're looking for a charming old-time atmosphere in a quaint town, Riverdale Tavern is a must-visit. They serve fantastic food, including their hand-patted burgers and delicious fried chicken – my personal favorite that I just can't get enough of! The prices are reasonable, and there's something special about sitting at that beautiful old bar. You definitely won't leave feeling hungry!
It seems to be a local hotspot. The waitstaff were really working hard. The food was just average; the sandwich had burnt toast on the inside, which was unpleasant. The burger bun was slightly soggy since it wasn't toasted, and the fries were limp and undercooked.
We stopped in for lunch. Old building but clean. Restroom was very clean. Food was great and was a very reasonable price. Sara the bartender was very pleasant and cheerful. If you’re ever in Riverdale stop in and check it out.

The food here is delicious, but it is on the pricey side. It's a bit unusual that they use paper plates instead of regular ones. Nonetheless, the quality of the food makes it worth a visit.
Awesome vintage place. Cold beer good burgers. Be prepared to wait for lunch Thursday afternoon lunch took 40 min to get served up.
Great place. Hidden gem. Prices were great also. Burger and taco nights you can't make them at home that cheap.
Had great gizzards. Generous portions. And a wonderful atmosphere. Staff was excellent.
