As usual the steaks were fantastic and the service provided by Skip was outstanding despite being a very busy Friday night. The only major drawback was the parking. We had to park across the street on a gravel lot. All the handicap parking was full and the one empty parking spot we saw was for the hotel courtesy vehicle. My suggestion, if it's feasible, is to expand the parking lot. I don't see this happening as it is rarely beyond capacity like it was Friday night. Some of the items on the salad bar need to be labeled. In the romantically dim lighting I couldn't tell the tuna from the potato salad. And if those are my biggest, and only, digs then you are doing very, very well.
Service was horrible. Didn’t bring rolls till food was ready while everyone around us got theirs immediately Didn’t bring extra butter that we ask for or refills on drinks until we asked for again ! Two out of three steaks over cooked. One was hard as a rock. I ordered a Kung Filet while my friends ordered a Queen. Mine was the same exact size as theirs. Had to wait for them to recook. Not the usual for this restaurant!
My husband and I went to Riverfront for the anniversary. We have the choice of Chefs Special, which was a fantastic value. It was a 10 oz fillet, 2 salad bars, 4 shrimps, 2 large divisible sides and everyone came with an onion ring as well. Our steak was perfectly cooked and everything was delicious. My only complaint was that they don't have a cream broil on the dessert menu
Our server is always great. Beverages were kept full and fresh. Clean restaurant. Manager visited us several times. And the food was very fresh and hot! Beautiful dinner with friends and family then on a great concert with the O'Jays and Spinners. Riverfront Steakhouse always leads us to the concert when we eat with them. Thanks for a great evening.
