I popped here on a bike ride to try the Full English breakfast. It was quite busy inside out this particular Tuesday morning. I had an orange juice while I waited for the breakfast to arrive. It looked very good although there were a couple of minor things I noticed on closer inspection. One of the slices of toast was barely toasted and only one of the eggs had a slightly runny yolk, the other was pretty solid. Everything else was great, especially the mushrooms. If only they done chopped tomatoes, that would make it exceptional for me. I'd still visit again though. Don't forget it's CASH ONLY, although the lovely waitress was ok for me to dash to the nearest cashpoint whilst I left my bags...
My husband and I went for lunch here today and it was lovely! I live in Wimborne but am often too busy to go out for breakfast or lunch but I'm really pleased we made the effort on my day off. It was warm and cosy inside. The Christmas decorations were very festive. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. My husband had a small All Day Breakfast and I had a toasted Brie and Onion chutney sandwich from the specials board. We didn't wait very long and both were hot tasty and well presented. O even bought a slice of cake to take away Lisa and her staff are doing a great job here, I would definitely recommend it
I was disappointed to find out that this cafe doesn't open until 9am on Saturdays, and I am usually in town by 8am. However, today I was in town later than usual and had the chance to visit the Riverside for the first time in over two years. I received a friendly welcome and the cafe was nearly full by 9:15am. I enjoyed a delicious and affordable breakfast, much cheaper compared to other cafes in the area. The specials board also had some tempting snacks for later in the day. It was a pleasant return visit, although I wish they opened earlier.
I visited this restaurant for breakfast and was very pleased with the quick service. We ordered 3 all-day breakfasts and 1 omelette, all of which were delicious and left us with clean plates. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The prices were very reasonable and the setting next to the river was lovely. Overall, I couldn't fault it.
We found a seat outside by the river and enjoyed the soothing sound of the water. After about 15 minutes, it started to rain so we moved inside. The jacket potato was delicious. The staff was quick and courteous, and the interior was lovely as well. We will definitely be back. Thank you.
