WOW!! I was going to go to Carlsons across the street like I have for 15 years as a kid and they were closed to my delight. I went to Riverside and there food was amazing!! I just realized what I have been missing all these years. I was delighted with all the fresh grilled fish and there Crunchy Monkey breakfast wrap, KILLER WRAP!!! I voted for Diners, Driveins and Dives with the 'Food network ' to go check this place out. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY!! If the owners ever read this from Riverside I am now a loyal customer and will eat there twice as much to make up the lost meals.
This restaurant is extremely pet-friendly! They have pup cups for dogs and tables right by the water, which is lovely. The menu offers a great selection, and I enjoyed a gluten-free bread/grilled chicken sandwich that was really good. Their ice cream is delicious, too! Plus, the staff is always friendly and welcoming. It’s conveniently located near Fisherman's Cove as well!
I’m eagerly looking forward to my next visit to Riverside Café! We spent the entire summer dining there, and it was wonderful each time. The grilled fish sandwiches and clam chowder were incredibly fresh and tasty, making our lunches delightful. Sitting at the café while watching the boats drift by is such a serene and picturesque experience.
Went for a bike ride this morning with a buddy. Started in Howell and our ride led us to the inlet. Working up a sweat and hunger we choose to eat at Riverside Cafe, where I had the Egg Mike Sandwich with Bacon and my buddy had The California Egg Mike. Both absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and amazingly fresh! Highly highly recommend!

This place is disgusting. Nothing is fresh! Fish is frozen, eggs are microwaved, quality of food is poor. Owners are rude dirty and have an awful attitude. Never go into eat here. McDonald's serves a better breakfast! At Riverside you pay a lot of money for crappy food and service.
I was at the Riverside for breakfast this past weekend with my family. It was delicious, and the food is so fresh! Loved it. Carlsons Corner is awful would not recommend that place to go and eat. The Riverside was highly recommended.
Riverside Cafe boasts an excellent location, and I loved enjoying the S'mores Ice Cream while soaking in the stunning view of the inlet. I can't wait to explore the menu and try the food on my next visit. So far, so good!
We visited Riverside Cafe for Father's Day with my mom, dad, husband, and our puppy. The staff were friendly and generously offered us complimentary dog treats and a bowl of water for our furry friend.

Just a heads up: Riverside Cafe is a counter service establishment. It's not really a sit-down, dine-in restaurant, which was different from what we anticipated.
