I cannot say enough great things about riviera tapas bar. One of my friends found them in college, and it has become our holy grail get together spot for brunch. You CANNOT beat the menu and the deal for $25 bottomless food or $40 bottomless food&drink. My personal faves on the menu are the chicken empanadas (ask for the siracha aioli sauce), pancake, and bacon wrapped dates. But there is so much that I didn't even cover that is a 10/10. Our favorite server was Ari, but she left. Ivan is now our fav who keeps putting up with us and our one million requests. Also, now that they updated the decor, it is really a can't miss place.
Food is remarkably mediocre! We were served a tortilla that resembled a day old frittata more than anything, it was extremely dry, bland, and covered in pink sauce.The Patatas bravas we ordered were sitting in marinara sauce straight from a can, and were also unremarkable. Fried calamari most likely went straight from the freezer to the frier.To Riviera's credit, location, service and ambiance where all fine, and the prices are reasonable. All said, the food here is a cheap, inauthentic imitation of Spanish cuisine, prestan cuidado!
Finally made it here. I've had this place bookmarked for awhile now. A friend and I met up on Tuesday.Parking is easy as there's a parking lot right there. Not sure if payment is required. I just parked and went right in.They had happy hour going on. Ends at 6 except on Wednesday when it goes until 8! I tried the paloma cocktail it was ok. For food, I did the steak tacos. The meat had flavor, but the tortillas fell apart. Yikes! I would come back. The brunch menu looks good! Service was good. Cheers!

Obnoxiously loud with allowing kids to play their devices at FULL VOLUME. You can?t expect other guests to relax after work if you allow that level of volume to consume the room. I highly recommend this place! Everything from the food to the service and drinks was fantastic! We enjoyed bacon-wrapped dates, cauliflower casserole, Thai chili ribs, lamb chops, strip steak with chimichurri, and blackened scallops. We also tried the mango margarita and strawberry margarita. Plus, we happened to visit during happy hour, which was a great bonus! Overall, it was a winning experience!
Wow!!!! I've been here 3 times in two weeks, plus ordered to-go another day. This place is a hidden gem in Riverdale. The ambiance is nice, the wait staff is attentive, and the food is delicious. The photos are from two different trips. The shrimp tacos, tapas de salmon teriyaki, and guacamole are must-haves, but don't be afraid to experiment. I'm looking forward to my next visit!
Went on a Sunday morning with family for brunch. They sat us down but due to a misunderstanding regarding reservations , we were approached by the same person who sat us down, in an unprofessional way in front of other customers which was unnecessary. Although, food was good and highly recommend the all kinds of flavors mimosas.

What a fantastic hidden gem! The food is incredibly delicious and perfectly portioned for sharing. Everything is well-seasoned, and they have great options for both vegetarians and vegans! I would have taken a picture, but the dishes looked so appetizing that we couldn't resist diving right in.
