The measure of a great cafe is how they handle customers when the experience is NOT perfect. We were there for lunch on Oct 31, and in the middle of service, the building lost power. Not perfect, but the staff and owner remained jovial, comped a couple drinks, made cracks about the power company at least letting us finish Bill Ted before cutting the electric, etc. The food is marvelous (when it can be cooked in a lit kitchen), but the atmosphere and service is 100% why I keep coming back.
Almost nearing a decade of dining at this fine establishment, I do not recall ever having a meal that was not perfectly prepared. On top of the food, the drinks are always perfectly crafted. If you manage to find a table during their typically busy brunch, you are in for a treat. And on top of all this, the owners are wonderful people.
The food is actually great, but the service was not genuine or caring in any way; very rushed even though it wasn't a weekend nor a busy Friday night. Our bill was brought to us as soon as we started !!! eating our entrées even though we never asked for it.
The food, atmosphere, and service here was excellent! My only regret is that I was visiting for a work trip and wont be able to come back more often. I could see myself having dinner here once a week if I was a local! Réservez une table maintenant
In my opinion, their arancini is the best in the area! I'm also a huge fan of their peanut butter espresso martini—it's fantastic!
The food and service were exceptional. Every dish that came from the kitchen was fresh and utterly delicious.
Roam is the best restaurant on Park Avenue. It has a fantastic atmosphere and the owners are wonderful!
Our favorite place on Park Ave. Salmon was incredible. Crab cakes too. Love this place! Réservez une table maintenant
