This family diner was recommended to me by my sister who found it when they were driving around looking for somewhere to eat. Yes the building is old and the bathroom is tiny but the restaurant is clean, food is amazing and staff are friendly, even when they are extremely busy.We stopped for lunch and had the cheeseburger and fry special. The hamburger was homemade and so tasty and the French fries, according to my husband the French fry connoisseur, were the best he had ever had. We came back for breakfast the next day and my eggs were perfect, bacon crisp and you couldn't beat the price. The home fries were tender and flavourful. We used the receipt to go across the road to Juniper Books where we got 15% off using our receipt. This is another great find that I will write about. Local businesses supporting each other, bonus!Excellent place to eat. Look beyond the decor; although the Beatle memorabilia is unique and fun to look at. If you want a clean, friendly, well priced place to eat that has EXCELLENT food look no further. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Windsor!
Me and my wife dropped our kids at university Saturday morning and decided to eat brunch in WINDSOR , I heard about this place and decided to try it .The sign on top says MCM which was confusing ( no idea why ) but the place is charming and a throw back to the sixties with that authentic breakfast smell of real eggs and butter , service prompt and nice , coffee on the table in 1 min , we ordered chocolate and banana French toast and an omelette with egg whites plus a side of perogies , everything came warm and delicious.Thumbs up for sure .
I come here time and time again, usually a couple of times a week. It is delicious! Their coffee is amazing. The food is UNREAL. The prices can't be beat. AND your receipt gets you 15% off at Juniper Books so they push small businesses. The best breakfast in Windsor!
We found this restaurant through TripAdvisor. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and the portions are quite large. The corned beef hash breakfast plate was well seasoned and the strawberry cheesecake French toast was very rich and tasty.
