I had a wonderful dining experience with excellent service and delicious food. The calamari was a standout, topped with a delightful balsamic glaze. However, the Brussels sprouts, which are highly praised, didn’t meet my expectations; while the candied bacon and Parmesan added fantastic flavor, the breadcrumbs completely ruined the texture, resulting in a somewhat soupy consistency.
On a positive note, the cheese curds were amazing—melt-in-your-mouth good with a perfect breading! The old fashioneds were delightful, strong enough to appreciate the bourbon while still being sweet enough to enjoy. The food was quite good overall. The only issue we encountered was with the Caramelized Brussels Sprouts we ordered; they were not as described, lacking both caramelization and Parmesan. However, I want to commend our server for being attentive to our feedback—she apologized and removed the charge for the dish. My only other observation is about the ambiance, which felt a bit off. The interior is beautiful, but the background music felt out of place; it was more suited for a 1950s diner. While the music itself wasn’t bad, it didn’t match the decor. A selection like Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin would have been a much better fit. Overall, we enjoyed a lovely meal.
The restaurant is definitely overhyped and on the pricey side. While the staff is friendly, particularly the waitress who was outstanding, the overall experience was lacking. The appetizers were costly, and the calamari had an off-putting burnt flavor. On the positive side, the onion rings and sauce were delightful. The prime rib was cooked to perfection with excellent seasoning. However, the kids' spaghetti was just average, and the BBQ chicken was nothing special. The final bill was nearly $200 for two adults and two kids.
If you're looking to spend $100 on a meal while enjoying the ambiance of a 1900s bed and breakfast, this is the place for you. The sea bass was delicious, and I highly recommend it. However, my potatoes were served cold, and it took 5 minutes to have them replaced. The dinner rolls tasted like they were store-bought and frozen, which was disappointing. Rob Dobs could truly enhance its bed and breakfast feel with a $300 king-sized room addition. Overall, the experience didn't justify the cost.

Two weeks ago, my husband and I visited Rob Don's for dinner. We were the only patrons in the restaurant, apart from a large group that was just being seated. Our waitress was pleasant, and our entrees arrived promptly, within 5-7 minutes. However, my husband was taken aback to discover that his chicken Marsala was undercooked. We were too worried about our safety to have it prepared again, so we decided to cancel our orders and leave. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to Rob Don's.
On a girls trip and we wanted a nice quick lunch. This was the perfect choice! The staff were all very friendly, the food was fast and delicious. The place was beautiful and very clean. Being a restaurant employee myself I pay attention to the smallthings and I can say this place seems to be very well run. And best off all the employees looked to be enjoying themselves!!!
We visited Rob Dob's for the first time this evening with my husband. The food was delicious, and Marylou provided us with excellent service. We're definitely planning to return and can't wait to explore more items on their menu. There was such a wide variety that it was tough to decide what to order!
I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. We didn't have to wait long for our meals to arrive. We will definitely be returning in the future.

This is a beautiful restaurant! It makes you feel special! The outdoor patio was comfortable and refreshing! The food and service was excellent! I can vouch for the salmon sandwich and strip steak sandwich...all good!
